About the centre
Founding and legal status
Tanweer Center opened in September 2017 as an independent centre on Al-Tarbiqa Street in Beit Ummar, and was registered as an association in 2019 under the name جمعية تنوير للثقافة والإبداع.
It is licensed by the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Culture.

How the centre is run
A General Assembly elects an administrative board. Elections are documented in 2021, 2023 and 2025, each under the supervision or attendance of the Ministry of Interior.
The General Assembly of 22 May 2025 approved the administrative and financial reports unanimously.
The move
In September 2025 the centre relocated from Al-Tarbiqa Street to the town centre, opposite Beit Ummar Boys' Secondary School.
